In addition to being responsible for major site redesign as Web Producer at Meebo, I was also in charge of general upkeep of the content contained within all of the pages. Depending on the page, I worked cross-functionally with nearly every team in the company to ensure our website communicated the right messages to our users, our investors, and our potential partners.

Since I started at Meebo, there have been several new products launch, including a Meebo Community IM and the Meebo Notifier. It was extremely important to keep the audiences for these two products in mind, as Community IM was directly geared toward corporate partners and the Notifier was for general consumption by our users. In the screenshots (and on the website), you can see where design and content decisions were made to optimize the experience for each individual audience.

While this portion of my job may sound a little like content management, it was really much more than that, as I was responsible for writing copy in the "Meebo voice," creating images that are production quality and making sure that the overall user experience is as good as it can be. I gained a lot of experience in areas that I was previously less comfortable working and have become much more of a generalist as my other web production skills developed to the point that they were nearly even with my programming/development chops.
